Happy October!

Yay! October has rolled around again. I couldn’t think of anything else that wouldn’t seem like I was repeating myself, so I thought a reblog of these reasons would suffice. 😉 Unfortunately, however, no. 6 will have to be crossed out for me as I’m not be partaking in NaNoWriMo this year, because I’m too swamped with game-related stuff to write anything. In fact, I don’t remember the last time I’ve written. =[ But that’s for another post! Still, all the other reasons remain valid, so… happy October!

Do you like October? Is there anything in particular you’re looking forward to? =D

Zen Scribbles

I’ve been waiting for this month for quite some time, it being the tenth month and all that. October is my favourite month of the whole year, and that’s not only because it’s my birthday month. 😉 Why do I like October? Here are some of the reasons:

1. It marks the start of Autumn. No more stickiness and humidity and hot weather. Just cool breezes and yellowing leaves and overall a much, much nicer weather.

2. It’s the time to break out cool jackets and comfy plush robes and fuzzy slippers, and bundle up in warm blankets without worrying about waking up in a sweaty mess in the morning… especially if you, like me, cannot sleep without blankets.

        1. Yeah, it’s just that we’re not succeeding in raising some funds for the game to make it the way we want it to be, so we’re having to cut back. The game is still going to be made, but with less content so that’s a bit disappointing. The work is still fun though!

    1. Haha, I just realised I didn’t edit that part of my post! I’m looking forward to Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, Thor 2, The Hobbit 2… lotsa sequels there!

  1. I didn’t want summer to end this year, probably because it was such a long time arriving. I’m not looking forward to another winter AT ALL, but I have to admit that, once the fact that it truly and irreversibly is autumn, this season is actually very pretty. I love the colours and I like the crispness of the air and the smells of autumn are great!
I’m sorry that the funding for your game is so difficult. It looks so great, it really deserves more attention.

    1. I’m the opposite. Since summer started I have really been looking forward to it ending. Absolutely can’t stand the heat! But I agree about the smells of autumn. 😉
And yeah, it’s a bummer. =[ We’re going to try on other crowdsourcing sites if Kickstarter doesn’t work, but either way we’re definitely producing this game.

  2. Yay for October! I’m with you on the hot drinks, reading, well…pretty much everything you said. I have an autumn crush right now. Shh, don’t tell anyone. And hey, Happy Birthday!
